Why does my credit card keep getting declined?

Please double check your billing street number, name, city, state, and zip code. Your card will 

not be approved by our payment gateway unless all the information matches. Please ensure 

that there’s enough credit limit or balance left on your card.


Can I use more than one card per transaction?

No. For multiple card transactions, please create separate orders.


Why does my gift card not work?

We take all gift cards from major issuing banks (Visa | Mastercard | Amex | Discover). By 

default, once a gift card is activated, there’s no billing address on file. Due to the Address 

Verification System, a gift card must be registered with a full billing address (street name, city, 

state, and zip code). To register a billing address to a gift card, there are two ways to do so:

  • Visit the website associated with the type of your card. There’s usually a portal that allows you to register your card and add a billing address (e.g. https://balance.vanillagift.com/#/faq)
  • Call the customer service number on the back of your card.

Once a billing address has been registered to your gift card, you may use it at any online 

retailer.
